I for one am glad that the school board and administration are being fiscally responsible with tax dollars. If you want to lay the blame on someone for school tax levies look to the state. Ask you state representative what the per pupil amount of money local districts receive from the state is. What they will tell you is that the an average of amount of state funding is $5,400 per pupil - SEL like most other suburban districts receive less than $2,000 per pupil, but your state representative won't tell you that.
