Who Buried This Story?

Below is a portion of a police report regarding an incident on May 1st, 2012.  This was not reported anywhere.  It did not appear in The Sun Messenger's police blotter, The Plain Dealer or on any local news channels.

“On Tue. 5-1-12 at 1028 hrs. cars responded to CVS, 4460 Mayfield Rd. , for a report of two b/m’s fighting and a gun being fired.

While enroute we were advised that a red, Ford Mustang type car left e/b on Mayfield Rd. I was s/b S. Green Rd. and Mayfield Rd. Ptl. Camper said that a red Pontiac Grand Am was n/b on Dill Rd.and turned w/b onto Edmond Rd. I headed that way and then was advised that the car just crashed at Edmond R. and S. Green Rd.and that two males were running from the scene.

As I was w/b on Edmond Rd. and passing the FD drive there were two firemen pointing and yelling towards the cell phone tower. Pt. Singerman pulled up and I told him about the firemen. We both pulled into the lot and the firemen said that a b/m went towards the courtyard. We turned the corner in time to see a b/m in a black coat and camouflage shorts climb the tree in the courtyard and get onto the police garage roof. We went through the courtyard, into the SEPD lobby, and out the door into the police parking lot.”

The entire police report is below.  Please note, South Euclid Oversight has redacted the names, addresses and phone numbers of the suspects involved in the incident.

SE Petitioner's Club

ATTENTION!! ATTENTION!!
Become a member of the SE Petitioners Club!

Are you unhappy with the direction of South Euclid government? Tired of all the taxes and fees, lousy roads and city ordinances? Well, this is the Club for you!

We would like to find as many people as possible to help circulate petitions and collect 20 signatures of registered, South Euclid voters. Collecting 20 signatures will take you an afternoon or two walking down your street talking to friends and neighbors. The more members we get, the less work we all need to do to change the direction of South Euclid for the better.

There are no member fees! All that we ask for is some of your time and energy to help collect signatures! Currently, we are circulating a Charter Amendment petition to prevent City Hall from issuing a tax on trash collection.

To become a member and/or get more information, please call
Grant McCallum at (216) 503-2238.

Who? : Any Ohio resident can circulate a petition
What? : Collect 20 signatures from registered South Euclid voters.
When? : Any day/time you have available (a weekend afternoon or weekday evening)
Where? : Any street/neighborhood in South Euclid
Why? : Because with a lot of us working a little...we can get a lot achieved.
