Housing Records Destroyed

There comes a time when records should be disposed of.
Financial records from 1917 serve only as historical records.
Unlike Mayoral records from 1980 to 2013.Every memo, every email sent, every bit of that information was generated by an employee.A public servant. Public service, not private service. And as such those records belong to us. The taxpayers whom they are employed by.
Just as I have no privacy rights for any emails I write at work, on my company's computer and email.
Of course it's a quagmire.
Who,what, which, records should be kept? What should be destroyed?
Hell, the NSA has the same problem.
What if Jimmy D. could have wiped out every paper trail of his,and Frank's misdeeds? Who knows,,,,,
How about our Mayor,Legal,Service Director,Police Chief,Housing,,,
all destroying records created in public service?
How does that make you feel?
Maybe a bit quesy,uneasy,
nervous????
1917,,,,I'm cool with those records.1980 to 2013,,,,,,,,
not so sure.
And only because our elected leaders have destroyed every trust we elected them to honor and respect.
I can't be any simpler.
