In fairness to the city on this one, if South Euclid had spent $250,000 on a records retention system I can imagine that SEO would have simply changed this headline from "Housing Records Destroyed" to "Reckless spending to retain old documents".

I don't know what SEO is trying to say by posting this article: that the city destroys documents it has no storage facility for? That the city is short on cash and cannot afford offsite storage for documents? That the city was too cheap to implement some form of retention system? That the city was prudent by NOT spending the money on a retention system?

If you've got a point to make, SEO, state it. Otherwise this just looks like a cheap shot. There's plenty of things to rail against the city for, but unfortunately this document destruction post simply reinforces the need for the city to SPEND MONEY on a retention system. If you're arguing that the city misallocates funding, then state so.
