City officials have insisted that the Cedar Center area is secure and poses no threat to public safety. Here are a few examples of their version of tight security. The unlocked gate is on Cedar Road. (June 17th) The contractors performing the draining were not using this gate for access.
It appears that someone has made an entry point off Fenwick Road.
The photo below was taken on June 17th. An outside contractor was hired to drain the "ponds" at Cedar Center. It is unknown why this water is being diverted into a storm drain. Has there been any water quality testing at this site?
On June 18th contractors began draining the former site of Blonders. (below) That water was diverted into an onsite manhole.

Ooh- look! Somebody stuck little bits on paper on twigs at the site of the destruction! That makes it all better now! Did one on of the council's kids get a grant to do that?

I THOUGHT THAT WAS THE TRASH,ACCUMULATED OVER THE YEARS OF ABANDONMENT THAT HAD FINALLY JUST BLOWN UP AGAINST THE FENCE THAT SURROUNDS WHAT USED TO BE A VIABLE,REVENUE GENERATING,SUBURBAN RETAIL CENTER!
RESTAURANTS,STORES,BANKS,ALL USED TO HAVE BUSINESSES THERE.
NOW IT'S "ART",AND IT AINT' CHEAP ART.THE "VOLUNTEER" DECORATORS NEED
$10,000.00 TO 14,OO0 TO CONTINUE THEIR "WORK"........
DONATIONS?????? LIKE THE DONATIONS FOR THE "PLAYGROUND OF "IMPOSSIBILITIES"....WHICH IS EMPTY EVERY TIME I GO BY IT?
HOW 'BOUT GETTING THE FRICKIN PROJECT DONE,AND START GETTING SOME TAX REVENUE INTO THIS CITY SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO REPEAL THE TAX CREDIT?????
MAYBE WE SHOULD PLASTER ALL THOSE BEAUTIFUL PICTURES OF THE MAYOR,AND CITY COUNCIL ALL OVER THE FENCES THAT SURROUND THE BARREN WASTELAND THAT THEY CREATED INSTEAD OF TWIGS,GROCERY BAGS AND TRASH,AND CALL THAT "ART"!
CALL IT THE "WALL OF SHAME",THE "FENCE OF FIASCO'S","WELO'S WHACKY WONDERWORLD OF POLITICAL AMBITION",
OR BETTER YET,"THE TAXPAYERS BARREN BURDEN","SOUTH EUCLID'S SIBERIA".
THIS REBUILDING PROJECT NEVER,NEVER,SHOULD HAVE TAKEN THIS LONG!
ART WORK ON THE CHAIN LINK FENCE,,,,,,,,,YEAH,IT'S CUTE,,,,
VERY INNOVATIVE,,,,,,BUT NOT VERY APPROPRIATE AFTER THE SCREWING OVER WE TAXPAYERS HAVE BEEN GIVEN.
