Mayor Georgine Welo states that "Point-of-Sale" has had a negative impact on home sales in other communities in the area. She publicly questions the logic of tying up money in escrow. If she genuinely disagrees with the action City Council is taking, it's time for her to exert her influence from the bully pulpit.

Maybe she got some advice from Jimmy and Frank to politicize the situation so everyone doesn't end up with egg on their faces. It's a bail out. Or maybe a magician who practices slight of hand.
If it don't pass then it's, "I told you so". If it do pass then it's, "I will uphold the will of the voters regardless of my personal beliefs and this is what make America great my friends".
Go figure...............
And Bush. Don't forget to remind Georgine to blame it all on Bush.
