The truly noble and courageous action to take right now would be to come clean about Cedar Center. Open up the books and let’s see how the money is being spent.
When did "buy the property and sell it to a developer" turn into a "partnership" between the City of South Euclid and The Coral Company?
When will our elected officials decide to reveal their financial strategy to the taxpayers? If there wasn't a clearly defined strategy in the first place, as noted in The Plain Dealer, that's simply inexcusable.

Did anyone else read the Sun Messenger article about Cedar Center's progress? The one quote of importance that really bothers me is from Keith Benjamin:
"After the demolition starts, we'll be looking forward to seeing the plans for what will be built there in the first half of 2009," he said."
Is that to say that the City has no idea what will be going up yet? What I read into this is: whatever plans Peter Rubin floated before the city in the past have been trashed and something else will take its place.
Political Will will make it all all right, right? Wrong!
Could it be city officials are forcing their will upon us?
Any thoughts, anyone?
