Ugh. Come on, SEO. Of all the things you could choose to rail on them for, you pick a photo?

Go after the big fish issues instead of creating squabbles over petty things like this.

Are you kidding? The Mayor is crying broke and threatening to turn of the night baseball lights and eliminate park guards and crossing guards. What in the world would make her think spending money on individual portraits of the administration is a wise decision.

Granted, not a good time to put up portraits - but criticizing the portraits is as ridiculous as the mayor turning off the lights: savings from either of these two things isn't going to plug a $1 million hole.

Criticize Cedar Center, pay raises, Greenvale, Playgrounds, splashparks and pools as big projects costing us money. A few bucks on portraits....not so much.

Hi. Thanks for your input. Here’s the way we see it. This administration has had a history of spending money in a willy-nilly fashion. This is merely one example. Obviously these kinds of things add up. It is particularly interesting that the photo was created very recently as they have the current council president listed correctly. Did the photo studio produce these portraits and collage for free? Yes of course there are lots of high-buck wasting issues that far surpass the cost of this portrait. That doesn’t negate a free-for-all with the taxpayer’s money regardless of the cost. Poor decision making is just that. We encourage anyone and everyone to start your own investigation into the on goings at city hall. The blogspot we use is free. Start your own and select a style of reporting that suits your interests. We will gladly use SEO to help promote it for you. It’s a lot of work, and as you are aware, criticism comes with the territory. We do the best we can to present as much information as possible on topics that cross our path.

Thanks for reading SEO and for taking the time to share your opinions.

I agree with SEO. Sure, the frame is not a lot of money when you look at the big picture (no pun intended). But SEO provides the information and readers can make up their own minds.
