Heads in the sand.
Does anyone on Council stop to think WHY so many citizens have organized petitions against their legislations instead of focusing on legal details?
If they truly represented their constituents they wouldn't need a lawyer to squash the citizens' voices.
Shame on South Euclid leadership.
This is simply unbelievable. Essentially, Lograsso is using the same argument he used last week to deny the tax petition. Does anyone have any idea whether this is all legitimate or not?
Aren't you all totally disgusted with this obstructionist Law Director, Mayor & Council?
Of course Council could act as a body to propose what the people want.
How dare Council recite "The Pledge of Allegiance" at these meetings, cause clearly there isn't "Justice For All." It's a slap in the face.
It really is unbelievable. I don't know but it just seems like the city challenges everything. It looks like there is no recourse for the citizens. I can see it now, as soon as charter petitions are submitted, the law director will say they should have been initiatives. I don't see how the citizenry can ever win, except next November.
Are they (City Hall) trying to drive people out of the city who actually have a clue. I can't get much for my house anyhow so why not stay and fight it out with them.
