The city actually borrowed 1.8 Million dollars and had no certain plans for the property. They discussed using it as an addition to Quarry Park, but ironically the park has remained closed for the past two years, and the city claims they don't have enough operating money to keep it open.
Why did the property get so run down to begin with? I thought the rental property was inspected by the city.
