Many Administrative pay raises are included in Mayor Welo’s version of “budget cuts” as referenced in the article below. The 2009 “Salary Ordinance” will be getting its final polishing by your elected representatives at the committee meeting to be held at 6:30 p.m. on April 27th. The meeting is open to the public.
Also noted, from the Plain Dealer commentary by Mayor Welo; “(Welo) expects the tightening to continue as cities are forced to charge residents for services such as trash pickup.”
Could this be a glimpse at things to come?

Oh no you don't. Don't even think of charging for trash pick up. We have one of the highest property tax rates in the county, I think we're number 9. Anyone who just filed their RITA taxes knows that we have a very reduced credit meaning that if you work in a 2% city like Cleveland, you still owed RITA for SE another 1.25% for a total of 3.25%. I know everyone has to pay taxes but what are we getting in return? What's next, charging for calling 9-1-1?
But it is OK to give for them to give themselves raises y the hard working people of So Euclid make ends meet. Thy are a bunch of money grubbing A holes. F them all. We work hard for are money and most of us keep are homes nice. Thy can even keep are streets nice. I live on a street with nice well keep homes worth 150.000 + and our street looks like it from Iraqi . VOTE THEM OUT!
