DIY Park Maintenance
The organization, South Euclid Girls Softball, spent $6,000 and hired a private contractor to make necessary repairs at the softball fields. The citizen presenting this information to Council expressed liability concerns. It was requested that Council keep this in mind when considering park maintenance at the next budget session.

What a disgrace! Now the people whose children utilize these fields are responsible for maintaining them in the hopes that their kids don't lose any teeth when playing?
If we could afford the playground, how about two more fences that will probably only cost what the residents spent for maintenance?
The old fence looks silly on one the fields that were repaired and brought up to standard by the girls league when they do not even own the land. It is a ludicrous amount of money to quibble over for someting that entertains so may of our children over the summer. Should have taken $100.00 per week off of the the school board presidents raise to accomplish this.
